ProVen Biotics For Women has been developed specifically with women and the female microbiome in mind.

It contains three strains of Lactobacillus bacteria, the species that dominates the vaginal microbiome, including two Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus gasseri, which is one of the primary strains found in this area of the female body. It also contains two Bidfidobacterium strains.

Along with 17.5 billion live bacteria, this product also contains cranberry extract and vitamin B6, which helps to support hormonal balance.

ProVen Biotics For Women contains three Lactobacillus strains – two Lactobacillus acidophilus strains and Lactobacillus gasseri, which is a key part of the vaginal flora.

Each one-a-day capsule contains 17.5 billion live bacteria, combining the Lab4 consortium of bacteria with Lactobacillus gasseri. Each capsule also contains cranberry extract and vitamin B6, which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.

Usage
  • As a food supplement for adults, take one capsule per day with food. Increase to two capsules per day if this is felt necessary.

Yes these products can be taken together – this would include around 25 billion Lab4 (which is the clinically researched dose) plus a higher dose of Lactobacillus gasseri and a wider range of nutrients.

There are no contraindications and no cross-over of vitamins, and taking both products would simply ‘cover more bases’ and provide higher levels of the live bacteria.
