Snackademy RATIONALE

The wraps are made with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), a healthy fat that is rich in polyphenols that help to nourish good bacteria. They also contain wholegrain fibre, which supports gut regularity.
Salmon is high in protein and omega 3 fatty acids helping to support gut integrity. Meats such as beef and chicken contain vitamin B12 and are a great source of protein. Vegetables provide fibre to feed the beneficial bacteria.

INGREDIENTS

3 x Crosta & Mollica wholegrain wraps (made with EVOO)

Salmon

  • 1-2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 4 slices of smoked salmon
  • Slices of cucumber

Roast Beef

  • 3 large slices of roast beef
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil/avocado oil mayo (Hunter & Gather)
  • Gem lettuce
  • 1 tomato

Chicken

  • ½ cooked chicken breast
  • Gem lettuce
  • 1 tomato
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil/avocado oil mayo

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the ingredients by cutting the chicken into thin strips, chopping the lettuce and slicing the tomatoes and cucumber.

2. Salmon - lay the tortilla flat and spread with cream cheese. Lay on the smoked salmon and cucumber slices. Roll and then cut into 2-inch slices.

3. Roast Beef - lay the tortilla flat and spread with olive oil mayo. Lay on the beef slices and then the tomato and lettuce. Roll and then cut into 2-inch slices.

4. Chicken - lay the tortilla flat and spread with olive oil mayo. Lay on the chicken with the tomato and lettuce. Roll and then cut into 2-inch slices.

5. Vegetarian options - hummus and vegetables, avocado and bean spread, cream cheese and olives, roasted veggies and pesto.
