Snackademy RATIONALE
Nuts and seeds provide fibre to feed beneficial bacteria, and are also high in healthy fats to support the gut lining, and antioxidants to support immune health. Oats are also full of fibre to support gut motility and regularity.
INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup (50g) oats
- ¼ cup (42g) chia seeds (ground) or flaxmeal
- ½ cup (66g) walnuts or almonds
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until it comes together.
2. Roll the mixture into similar sized balls (the mixture makes around 10 balls) and they can be eaten immediately.
3. The Zoom Balls can be kept in the fridge for up to a week.
